On behalf of the State of Israel, I have the honor and the pleasure of congratulating Your Excellency and the people of Azerbaijan on the auspicious occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic that takes place in May, 2018.
The establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918 was a landmark in the history of the region and the re-establishment of the independence of Azerbaijan in 1991 enabled your nation to continue that wonderful democratic tradition.
We wish you and the Azerbaijani nation peace and prosperity and I look forward to cooperating with you over the coming years to enhance the friendship and cooperation between our two countries.
