Turkey has gained big influence in the region and in the world as a modern country whose political system is based on democratic principles and strong economy. We are happy for Turkey's accomplishments on the international arena.
Azerbaijan and Turkey are bound together by ties of strong friendship and fraternity that benefit from deep historical and national roots. Built on these foundations, our inter-governmental relations clearly testify to our alliance and solidarity.
I am confident that our large-scale, fruitful and active cooperation in political, economic and cultural areas, our firm position that expresses a preference for our mutual interests with respect to international affairs will further contribute to the progress of our countries and prosperity of our people.
