IRELAND SHOWS INTEREST IN EXPANDING RELATIONS WITH AZERBAIJAN
According to the Ministry’s press service, Minister Vilayat Guliyev noted during the conversation that Azerbaijan attaches great significance to strengthening relations with Ireland stressing the importance of their expanding in many spheres. He also updated the Ambassador in detail on social and political situation in Azerbaijan, democratic reforms and fair and transparent presidential elections held in October 15.
Ambassador S. Welan pointed out that his country is interested in widening relations with Azerbaijan and is ready for fruitful cooperation with the country for development of bilateral links in political, economic, cultural and other spheres.
The parties have also discusses a number of other issues of mutual interest.
