KAZAKHSTAN TO BE ADMITTED TO WTO UP TO 2005
Kazakhstan can be admitted to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in the coming two years, Adilbay Jaksibayov, minister of industry and trade of this country said.
A working group on admission of Kazakhstan to WTO was set up, the Minister stressed. Representatives of 66 member states out of 150 were included to the Group. Kazakhstan is negotiating with 36 countries.
Mr. A. Jaksibayov underlined that Kazakhstan, after its admission to this Organization, will have great opportunities from the point of view of protection its interests.
