President Ilham Aliyev offers condolences to Sultan of Oman

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of prominent statesman, Sultan of Oman His Majesty Qaboos bin Said,” the President said in his message.
“On the occasion of this heavy loss, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deep condolences to you, all members of your family, and the friendly people of Oman,” the head of state said.
