President of Czech Republic Milos Zeman visits Parliament of Azerbaijan

President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman has visited Parliament of Azerbaijan.
The President viewed the Heydar Aliyev Memory Hall in the Parliament and signed the guest book. The President met Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov. Mr. Asadov spoke about relations between the two countries. The Speaker said Azerbaijan attached great importance to further strengthening relations with the Czech Republic. He stressed the importance of reciprocal visits of the heads of the states in developing relations.
The Parliament Speaker highlighted inter-parliamentary ties, and applauded ties of Friendship Groups in legislative bodies. He said Azerbaijan appreciated adoption of the decision by the Foreign Affairs Committee of Chamber of Deputies of Czech Parliament on Khojaly massacre.
President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman stressed the importance of his visit and praised development of inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries. The President noted this visit would contribute to further strengthening relations.
