RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CIS PARLIAMENTS AND GOVERNMENTS ADOPTED

Scientific-practical conference on the topic “Improvement of cooperation of the CIS states in combat against international terrorism and financing it” rounded in Sankt Petersburg.

The Conference was attended by heads of the security bodies and special services of the CIS countries – Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia, and representatives of CIS Anti-terror Center.

Participants of the Forum adopted recommendations to the parliaments and governments of the CIS countries.

Final document of the Forum includes instructions on preparation, discussion and adoption of model laws for regulation of numerous aspects of combat against terrorism, as well as support activity of the consultative group on security in transport, conducting the III international Forum “Terrorism in transport and security” in Moscow next year, undertake measures for control on the sale of “Igla” and “Strela” type of anti-missile complexes.
