RUSSIA ENTERS NEW STAGE OF MILITARY AND TECHNICAL CO-OPERATION WITH CIS COUNTRIES
Deputy Chief of the Russia’s Committee for Military and Technical Co-operation with Foreign Countries Vladimir Polischuk announced Russia opens new stage of military and technical Co-operation with newly independent states. He stressed Russia is now carrying out dialogues not only on sale and supply of Russian weapons to these countries, but also on joint designing and production of new kinds of weapons. ‘We are working together to bring samples of our arms to the third countries markets.‘, he said. Mr. Polischuk pointed out Russia’s dynamically developing relations in this sphere with Belarus, Kyrgizstan and Ukraine, and mentioned good links with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan as well.
