WOMEN’S ROLE IN CENTRAL ASIA DISCUSSED IN ALMATY

Chairman of the State Committee for Women’s Problems Zakhra Guliyeva and chief specialist of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Farida Ahmadova have participated in the conference on “Women’s Role in Central Asia” gathered in the Kazakh capital representatives from Turkey, Iran, Albania and Central Asian countries.
The conference participants have adopted a resolution urging to improve women related legislations, put an end to violence against women and involve them in active participation in solving political and socio-economic problems.
