WTO ORGANIZES SEMINAR FOR GOVERNMENT WORKERS FROM CAUCASUS AND CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES IN TBILISI
A training course by the world Trade Organization (WTO) for government workers in the Caucasus and Central Asian countries opened on June 30 in Tbilisi. According to the Caucasus press, this seminar was organized with the financial support of the WTO secretariat, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The Canadian Center for Trade Politics and Law, the International Center for Trade Policies and Law and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia contributed to the organization of this training course. The course is mainly designed for government officials taking part in the multilateral trade negotiations with the WTO. This training aims to increase the knowledge and experience of government officials of the Caucasus and Central Asian countries and activate their participation in the negotiation process.Lectures and practical course will be conducted by experts from the WTO secretariat and Canada and end on 11 July.
