'Turkey has a key role in TANAP Project'

Deloitte Energy and Natural Resources Industry Leader Uygar Yoruk said: "Turkey plays a significant role in a key project that serves for the European Union's energy security like TANAP."
Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Yoruk said giant oil companies do exploration works in Turkey, which has a lot trade partners in the field of energy.
Stressing that Turkey play a significant role in a key project that serves for the European Union's energy security like Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP), Yoruk said, "The government's policies regarding nuclear power plant investments brought great agreements signed with Japanese and Russian companies with it. Development of third nuclear power plant project and Afsin-Elbistan fields attracts attention of foreign investments."
Yoruk also said private sector's electricity production facility investments are uninterruptedly continuing and added, "With increasing economic activity, electricity market reached a significant growth. The most important point became the giant projects' continuous at full steam like TANAP and STAR refinery. Turkish Stream Pipeline Project with Russia has also occupied the agenda and will continue to occupy."
