ABDULLAH GUL: ‘DEMOCRATIC PROCESS MOVES AHEAD IN AZERBAIJAN’
In his interview to journalists, Deputy Prime Minister and foreign minister of Turkey Abdullah Gul, regarding the appointment of Ilham Aliyev as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said: ‘Azerbaijan is a friendly and fraternal country. Democratic process moves ahead in Azerbaijan. It is enough to tell that Azerbaijan is the member of the Council of Europe. And this is an indication of democratic process in the country’. He stated that Turkey supports the ongoing democratic processes in Azerbaijan.
Noting the continuing treatment of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev at the ‘Gulhane’ Military Medical Academy, Deputy Prime Minister and foreign minister of Turkey Mr. Abdullah Gul wished recovery to the head of Azerbaijan state.
