Afterwards, they saw other sights in the city, including a musical fountain.
The Turkish first couple also visited the grave of Javad Khan, the ruler of Ganja Khanate.
Abdullah Gul and his spouse then familiarized themselves with an exhibition of ancient handicrafts at an arts and craft center at the “Chokak Hamam” complex.
Afterwards, President Gul had a conversation with Turkish businessmen working in Ganja.
Abdullah Gul then attended the inauguration ceremony of the Azer-Turk Bank`s Ganja branch.
The Turkish President and his wife cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the branch, and viewed its departments.
Later the same day, the President of Turkey arrived at the Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy where he familiarized himself with the Jumhuriyyet Museum dedicated to the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic of 1918.
Afterwards, the Turkish first couple visited the house where Nuru Pasha, a general in the Ottoman Army, lived in while helping Azerbaijanis fight against Armenian Dashnaks in 1918.
Abdullah Gul then visited the tomb of Nizami Ganjavi, the greatest Azerbaijani romantic epic poet in the East.

After that, Gul responded to questions from journalists, and expressed satisfaction with his visit to Baku and Ganja.
