ADB TO IMPLEMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT

Asian Development Bank (ADB) is going to launch Technical Assistance Projects in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan and Tajikistan in September to include gender aspects in poverty reduction strategy in these countries.

According to the State Committee on Women’s Problems, the Project aims to define gender-based roots of poverty in developing member-countries. It implies the use of financial possibilities of the Asian Development Bank for solving gender issues, preparation of gender-related documents etc.
