ANAMA: 397 unexploded ordnances neutralized over past week

“During mine-clearing operations in the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts, 79 anti-personnel mines, 68 anti-tank mines, and 397 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were discovered and neutralized from July 7 to 14,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“A total of 1287.4 hectares of land were cleared from mines and UXOs over the past week,” the agency added.
