ANAMA: 830 unexploded ordnances neutralized over past week

Baku, July 8, AZERTAC

“During mine-clearing operations in the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts, 28 anti-personnel mines, 107 anti-tank mines, and 830 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were discovered and neutralized from July 1 to 7,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.

“A total of 1039.5 hectares of land were cleared from mines and UXOs over the past week,” the agency added.
