ANAMA TRAININGS UNDERWAY IN PROVINCES
According to the ANAMA’s press-service, the purpose of trainings is raising skills and knowledge of agency employees on using international computer program IMSMA. The initial stage of trainings was meant for the ANAMA management.
As was noted, IMSMA program has been developed by joint efforts of the Geneva international center for humanitarian demining and Zurich State Technical University and used in ANAMA since 1999.
One of the program’s components is electric database on activities and ANAMA’s works geography and cartographical materials of dangerous mine territories. The program contains courseware for young specialists.
The first version has been installed in Agency’s computers since September 1999 and several new updated IMSMA versions have already appeared. At present, works over the new fourth version based on latest developments is in progress and all data on ANAMA’s activity is saved for later downloading.
