ANOTHER TWO LICENSES FOR OLYMPIC GAMES
International Swimming Federation will present two white-cards for participation at Olympic games 2004, press-service of Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism reports.
National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism, panel of judges of Azerbaijan Swimming Federation presented these licenses to Sergey Dyachkov / freestyle, 100m/ and Natalya Filina / breast-stoke, 100m/.
Thus, apart from these sportsmen, nine boxers, five weightlifters, five freestyle wrestlers, three on Greco-Roman, three judoists, two taekwondists, one on calisthenics, skeet shooting, bullet shooting, field and track athletics, and on fencing will represent Azerbaijan in Greece.
It was also noted that if only 31 licenses was gained for Sydney Olympiad in 2000 and sportsmen represented in eight kinds of sport, then, for today, 34 Azerbaijani sportsmen in 12 kinds of sport will compete in Athens.
