The present stage of development of human civilization differs with its prompt transformation of the political picture of Globe, qualitative updating of the role of the nations on historical arena. The life shows, that to peoples which cannot become from the political-ethnic point of view the organized force, it gradually loses the positions in the world development, they become weaker and lose opportunity to carry out its rights and interests.

Today, our compatriots whom the history and destiny has scattered all over the world, realize the value of unity of Azerbaijanis of the world in the name of realization of our national goals, necessity of consolidation around of the ideas of independence proclaimed by national leader Heydar Aliyev and statehood more deeply. There is no doubt that mighty, strong, great Azerbaijan should rise on the indestructible and strong base of national-spiritual integrity.

For the passed year, the far-sighted internal and foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev has brought to the Azerbaijan Republic tremendous successes. The GDP, manufacture of industrial output, incomes of the state budget and other economic parameters have increased the rates not having analogue in the world, the standard of living of the population steadily increased. In society achieved civil consent. Political, economic, legal and social reforms successfully go ahead. Protection of the rights and freedom of the person is provided, are undertaken important steps on the way of integration of Azerbaijan to family of European peoples. Free, fair and transparent parliamentary elections carried out in November of this year in the country have opened a new stage in democratic development of Azerbaijan.

The successes achieved by the Azerbaijan Republic, strengthening the leading positions in region of Southern Caucasus, on the way of stable and consecutive development, sincerely please Azerbaijanis of world. Construction in Azerbaijan of the legal, democratic, secular state, creation of civil society, application of principles of market economy pleases our compatriots living in various world countries.

The Azerbaijan Republic is the hope and support, the Motherland for Azerbaijanis of world, therefore, our compatriots living in Europe, Asia, America and on other continents, watch closely political processes occurring on the Motherland, test satisfaction of that our young state carries out independent policy adequate to national interests, strengthens the positions in the world community.

They are not only pleased to the achieved successes, but also impatiently wait for the solution of fatal problems of our Motherland, including restoration of territorial integrity of our country, returning more than one million refugees and IDPs to the native lands. And the Karabakh problem, with joint efforts of our people will be solved. Therefore, each Azerbaijani irrespective of the country he lives, should use the best efforts for prevention of this evil. Our filial duty to the Motherland consists in bringing in the contribution to the solution of problems disturbing people. We trust, that it will be - due to joint efforts of our careful compatriots, Azerbaijan, successfully solving all problems, will turn in the happy country where everyone will live safely, in indestructible support of our compatriots living in various world countries.
