ARCS AND MAGEN DAVID ADOM START REALIZATION OF MEMO
Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) and Israel’s emergency medical, health, blood and disaster service, Magen David Adom (the Red Star of David) on 29 August have started joint trainings in Baku.
Noting that on 20 April current year, ARCS and Magen David Adom have singed a Memo on cooperation, Member of Azerbaijan Parliament, ARCS president Novruz Aslanov said the 4-day trainings would give impetus to further cooperation of the two Societies.
Attending the first training, Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Artur Lenk said the assistance would be rendered to everybody irrelevant of national and religious belonging.
The Magen David Adom Society began functioning in 30s of the last century, still before the State of Israel was founded, and has great experience.
Experts Boris Kozokin and Namyot Amirin will conduct the trainings, the Ambassador said.
