ARMENIA UNABLE TO MAKE INDEPENDENT DECISION
As was informed earlier, the NATO has created its special center in Armenia. Official representatives of the country in the comments prove this choice of structure that Armenia, ostensibly, supports closer cooperation with NATO, than Azerbaijan and Georgia. As the first vice-speaker of Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, chairman of the safety and defense standing committee Ziyafet Askerov has informed to correspondent of AZERTAG, that the given information was disseminated to cause public error. Actually, Armenia is extremely passive in the structures of NATO, including in Parliamentary Assembly, he stressed. This country is an advanced post of Russia and is unable to make independent decision. Any interaction with NATO is carried out by Armenia with the consent of Russia. On the other hand, apparently, such steps are necessary to turn out Armenia from the position of advanced post.
