AS Monaco breaks EuroLeague scoring record

AS Monaco set a new club scoring record and made EuroLeague history with their dominating performance against Paris Basketball, according to BasketNews.
The home team cruised to a 125-104 victory, putting up the third-highest point total in EuroLeague history. When considering only regulation games, Monaco’s 125 points stand as a new record.
Before this game, Panathinaikos Aktor Athens and Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv held the top mark, both scoring 123 points in a 40-minute contest.
Teams also broke the record for the highest combined score ever made in a single EuroLeague game without overtime.
Elie Okobo led the charge for Monaco with a career-best outing. The guard played 26 minutes, scoring 26 points on perfect shooting from inside the arc and near-perfect from three, along with 6-for-6 free throws. Okobo also added 4 rebounds, 8 assists, and finished with 39 efficiency points.
Other key contributors included Matthew Strazel, who poured in 22 points with 7 assists, and Mike James, who scored 16 points while adding 7 assists. Nikola Mirotic chipped in 14 points, helping Monaco dominate throughout the game.
Paris tried to keep pace, with Justin Robinson standing out. In just 17 minutes, Robinson scored 24 points, grabbed 1 rebound, and dished 2 assists, finishing with 25 efficiency points. Jared Rhoden added 22 points and 5 rebounds for the visitors, while Nadir Hifi contributed 17 points.
