AT CENTRAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION
Regular session of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the presidency of Mazahir Panahov was held on 4 July. The Commission approved the candidacy of Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev nominated to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the initiative group at the 15 October presidential elections. Then, CEC approved the candidacy of Shirin Ikhtiyar Alibala olgu to the President of Azerbaijan Republic. The initiative group of the National Congress Party nominated him. Representatives of the International Fund on Electoral Systems (IFES), embassies of Turkey, Japan, Germany and OSCE Baku Office as well as mass media attended the session.
