AZAL awards its two millionth passenger
Baku, July 26, AZERTAC
Azerbaijan's national air carrier, AZAL, has celebrated its two millionth passenger. On July 25, the airline reached this milestone for the year 2024.
The lucky passenger was Nazrin Orujova, who had purchased a Baku-London flight ticket.
Airline representatives congratulated her at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, presenting her with a certificate for a free round-trip flight from Baku to any regular destination served by Azerbaijan Airlines.
In the first half of 2024, the number of AZAL passengers increased significantly: international routes saw a 60% increase compared to the same period in 2023, while domestic flights experienced a 10% rise.
