“AZEL” DEMONSTRATES NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM
Addressing the participants, President of “AZEL” Igor Yakovenko noted that President Ilham Aliyev attaches particular significance to development of the information and communication technologies in Azerbaijan.
Having reminded several extracts from the address of the President of Azerbaijan to the World Summit for Information Society in Geneva, on December 2003, Mr. Yakovenko noted that arrangements carrying out by the head of state in the field of development of entrepreneurship, opening of new job opportunities and solution of the social problems had set concrete tasks for AZEL’s management.
The company’s long-term plan includes development of the computer technology in the country, installation of the model computers, application of up-to-date computer programs and creation of the new computer systems.
In his turn, Aleksey Badayev, head of the department of regional business development of the Microsoft CIS office emphasized that Azerbaijan takes the first place among the CIS countries on development of computer system, in which “AZEL” plays a major role.
Reports “Microsoft Business Solutions”- Important Foundation of Your Business”, “Microsoft Navision” – integrated system of management for medium and small enterprises, “Functional and technological capabilities” and others were heard.
