Azerbaijan, AIIB discuss cooperation

Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Konstantin Limitovskiy, Chief Investment Officer of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
The meeting recognized the active collaboration between Azerbaijan and AIIB, highlighting the bank’s support for regional energy security and its contributions to the development of Azerbaijan’s green energy sector.
The discussion also emphasized the bank’s extensive experience in creating investment programs in collaboration with its member states, contributing to the development of infrastructure, energy, transport, urban planning, logistics, telecommunications, the environment, and other sectors.
Further discussions focused on current cooperation issues, and new avenues for collaboration were identified.
