Azerbaijan and Poland hail dynamic development of relations

Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland. They emphasized that the intensive political dialogue has made a significant contribution to the further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
The two ministers noted that high-level reciprocal visits and political consultations play a special role in strengthening relations based on mutual trust between the two countries.
The ministers reviewed progress on several agreements currently being prepared between Azerbaijan and Poland.
The meeting also discussed prospects for enhancing economic cooperation, as well as the importance of increasing trade turnover and promoting investment opportunities.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the post-conflict situation in the region and ongoing peacebuilding efforts.
The meeting also focused on European security, energy sustainability, regional connectivity, as well as other regional and international issues of mutual concern.
