Azerbaijan, Bahrain discuss future cooperation prospects

Azerbaijani ambassador to Saudi Arabia Rasim Rzayev has paid a working visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to discuss the ways of developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bahrain.
During his visit Rasim Rzayev met with Undersecretary for International Affairs of Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdullah bin Ahmad Al Khalifah, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani, Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and Chairman of the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayed.
At the meeting with undersecretary of Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides hailed the level of Azerbaijan-Bahrain bilateral relations, and exchanged views on the development of cooperation in a variety of areas.
Ambassador Rzayev thanked the government of Bahrain for adopting resolutions condemning Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan, demanding the liberation of occupied territories and the return of IDPs to their native lands, as well as for constantly supporting Azerbaijan's stance within the international organizations, including the UN and the OIC.
The meeting with Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism featured discussions on the development of cooperation between the two countries in trade and tourism fields. They also exchanged views on the launch of direct flights between the cities of Baku and Manama.
At the meeting with Bahraini interior minister, the sides discussed the development of cooperation between the two countries' ministries of internal affairs.
The meeting with chairman of the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce and Industry focused on the issues relating to cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of Azerbaijan and Bahrain. They also discussed the ways of developing relations between the two countries' companies in the field of agriculture and food industry, and increasing the bilateral trade.
