AZERBAIJAN DIASPORA EXPANDS ITS ACTIVITY
As was informed to AzerTAj form the State committee on work with Azerbaijanis living abroad, the founders of the Club are member of the Estonian Parliament Eldar Efendiyev, adviser of Parliament Ian Krimpe and chairman of the Estonia-Azerbaijan Center of Culture “Aydan” Niyazi Hajiyev. The goal of the setting such a center is to attract adherers of Azerbaijan and bringing to the world community the realities on Azerbaijan.
At the ceremony of opening of the Club, attending were delegation headed by chairman of the state Committee Nazim Ibrahimov, as well as Members of Parliament. After the arrangement, the founders and members of Azerbaijan delegation discussed the question on creation in the Baltic countries Coordination Council of the Azerbaijan Diaspora organizations. The idea was welcomed and was decided to make concrete steps in this direction.
In the frame of visit, delegation of Azerbaijan held meetings with Chairperson of Parliament of Estonia, Ene Ergma, foreign minister Christina Oiland, minister for population Paul-Eerick Rummo, the Estonia-Azerbaijan-Turkey parliament group.
