AZERBAIJAN, HUNGARY: COOPERATION OF CUSTOMS SERVICES ENHANCING
According to the press service of the Committee, Kamaladdin Heydarov spoke about the links established between customs services of Hungary and Azerbaijan and the forthcoming steps towards their further development. The Chairman of Committee told about the history of the Azerbaijani customs noting that thanks to attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev, the service meets international standards and successfully continues its integrating into the European customs family.
Chairman of Committee has said: “The successes achieved over the last years by customs service of independent Azerbaijan allow to speak of enhancing of our mutual cooperation both with the World Customs Organization and the majority of the world countries including Hungary ”.
Gabor Hoka said: “The purpose of present visit is to be acquainted with the course of preparation for the forthcoming WTO conference on the European region on February 2-3, 2006 in Baku. Azerbaijan has wide experience in carrying out the international events.” He expressed confidence that this conference will also be held at a high level.
Having touched on the essence of the agreement to be signed between Hungary and Azerbaijan in the field of customs affairs, the visitor has noted that this document will make a powerful contribution to further cooperation between customs services of the two countries.
For development of cooperation between customs services of Hungary and Azerbaijan, and his activity connected with organization of WTO conference in Baku, Kamaladdin Heydarov was awarded honorable medal of Hungary founded on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of creation of Hungarian Customs and Finance Guard.
