AZERBAIJAN JOINS AIESEC
Azerbaijan had joined world's largest student organization – AIESEC, Ministry of Youth and Sport reported. This decision to accept Azerbaijan was made at the sitting of this organization held in Soesterberg, Netherlands. Head of AIESEC office in Azerbaijan Bakhtiyar Hajiyev represented Azerbaijan in the meeting.
Collaboration, leadership and board elections as well as requests for admission of nine nations – Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kirghizstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Qatar and Vietnam – were a focus of discussions at the meeting. The admission of Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Qatar and Vietnam was rescheduled for the next year.
The meeting was rounded off with a presentation of Azerbaijani culture, history and economy.
