AZERBAIJAN JOINS INTERSPUTNIK
Director of the Center for International Relations and Calculations under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies Jalil Safarov said Azerbaijan’s joining the documents fully meets national interests of the country, and our republic becomes a member of one more influential organization, which has the official observer status in the United Nations, UNESCO and International Telecommunication Organization.
By joining the future Intersputnik projects and using sputniks under favorable conditions, we reduce a risk of information blockade of our country, but expand the possibilities to air our radio and television programs to larger area including the countries of compatriots residing.
Annually, the Azerbaijan Republic will pay membership dues to the amount of $30.000.
