AZERBAIJAN JOINS TO ANOTHER ANTITERRORIST DOCUMENT
Draft law “On approval of the protocol of ratification of the regulations on order of organization and conducting joint antiterrorist arrangements on the territories of Commonwealth” was discussed.
After September 11, 2001 terrorist acts, Azerbaijan joined 10 antiterrorist conventions, adopted law on combat against terror, Chairman of the commission, deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov said to AzerTAj correspondent. Having joined such documents, Azerbaijan again demonstrates its implacable position against terror.
Azerbaijan joined this document signed at the Council of the heads of states and governments of CIS member states, in Kishinev, on October 7, 2002, in accordance with definite terms.
The term says: “The Republic of Azerbaijan may take part in the realization of the Regulation “ On order of organization and conducting of the joint antiterrorist arrangements on the territories of Commonwealth states only in frame of information-analytical and consultative supply of the claims of preliminary bodies of states, on the territories of which this arrangement is held, and in accordance with the national legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, deputies proposed to submit the project for Milli Majlis consideration.
