Azerbaijan, Jordan explore ways of expanding cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev has met Jordanian Ambassador Nassar Al-Habashneh to discuss ways of broadening the bilateral cooperation.
They hailed “fraternal” contacts between the heads of the two countries, and stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan. They particularly pointed out to wide opportunities in economy, and hailed the existing legal framework in this area. They stressed the role of the joint inter-governmental committee in expanding economic and trade relations.
Mr Mustafayev highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic development. He also outlined the country`s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Ambassador Al-Habashneh hailed economic development of Azerbaijan as dynamic. He said his country attached particular importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan. The Ambassador noted that Jordan backed Azerbaijan`s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said he would spare no efforts towards developing the relations between the two countries in various fields, particularly economy.
