AZERBAIJAN, KUWAIT: RELATIONS EXPANDING IN ALL FIELDS
Greeting the guest, Speaker of Milli Majlis said that Kuwait plays in the Near East the role that Azerbaijan plays in the Caucasus. And that national leader of Azerbaijan had invaluable contributions in establishment of bilateral relations between the tow countries. Azerbaijani Speaker stated that the parliamentary links are also high level.
Chairman of Milli Majlis informed on hard plight of over one million refugees and IDPs who as a result of Armenian aggression have been ousted from their homelands. Speaker expressed gratitude for humanitarian aids the State of Kuwait has rendered. “The conflict should be settled in the frame of international law and the principle of territorial integrity of the states”, Mr. Alaskarov stressed.
Minister of Religious Endowments And Islamic Affairs of Kuwait Dr. Abdullah Maatouq Al-Maatouq expressed gratitude for warm reception and stated that the State of Kuwait would further continue to render assistance to Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the Board of Caucasian Moslems Sheik ul-Islam hajji Allahshukur Pashazadeh took part at the reception.
