Azerbaijan, Oman explore prospects of cooperation

Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy, met with Khalfan Al-Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Development of the Sultanate of Oman, as part of WUF13.
The meeting discussed the current state of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Oman and the prospects for enhancing cooperation. The parties noted that the friendly relations between the two countries create a favorable basis for expanding economic cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on the diversification of business relations, promotion of mutual investments, increasing trade and infrastructure cooperation opportunities. The two emphasized the importance of sharing experience in urban planning, construction and sustainable urbanization.
The meeting also focused on the issues of participation in potential investment projects, expanding ties between representatives of the private sector and identifying new areas of cooperation.
