Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall to mark centenary of prominent composer Fikrat Amirov
Baku, April 12, AZERTAC
On April 15, the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli will perform fragments from the ballets and symphonic works of outstanding Azerbaijani composer Fikrat Amirov at the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall to celebrate his 100th anniversary.
Conducted by Honored Artist Fuad Ibrahimov, the concert will feature People's Artist Yegana Akhundova as a soloist.
The concert program also includes a presentation of an audio disc composed by Yegana Akhundova.
Moreover, the Azerbaijan State Film Fund will organize a photo exhibition dedicated to Fikrat Amirov’s legacy.
