Azerbaijan took part in Third Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood
Baku, February 12 (AZERTAC). The represantative staff lead by Chairperson of Azerbaijan State Committee on Problems of Family, Woman and Child Hijran Huseynova collaborated in the Third Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood in the Libyan capital-city, Tripoli.
The Conference was held under the theme “Reinforcing Development: Meeting the Challenge of Early Childhood Promotion in the Islamic World”.
The Third Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood dealt with four documents prepared by ISESCO, namely “The State of the Child in the Islamic World: Overview of Recent Progress and Remaining Challenges”; “Accelerating Early Childhood Development in the Islamic World”; the “Laws on the Protection of Child Rights and their Enforcement Mechanisms in the Islamic World”; and the “Draft Legal Framework for the Establishment of ISESCO Forum for Children of the Islamic World”.
H. Huseynova spoke about the problems on the current topic, noted the state care on comprehensive development of the children in Azerbaijan.
H. Huseynova met with Ibrahim al-Zarruq al-Sharif, the Secretary of the General People`s Committee for Social Affairs of Libya and with Aisha Muammar Kazzafi, the Chairperson of Waatassimu Charitable Corporation. The sides discussed the perspectives of cooperation between two countries.
