AZERBAIJAN, UKRAINE SIGN INTERGOVERNMENTAL DOCUMENTS
Following the talks between Azerbaijani and Ukrainian delegations in Kiev, the parties signed several intergovernmental documents.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Viktor Yushchenko signed the “Joint Declaration on friendship and strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine”.
Other documents signed are: “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Ukraine on cooperation in the fields of informatization and information technologies”; “Program between the ministry of youth and sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the ministry on family, children and youth Affairs of Ukraine for cooperation in the fields of youth policy and sports for 2008-2009”; “Protocol on Cooperation between the ministries of culture and tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine for 2008-2012”; “Memorandum of Understanding between the State committee on securities under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State commission on securities and stock market of Ukraine”; “Agreement on cooperation in the field of public service between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine”.
