AZERBAIJANI FM MEETS DIRECTOR OF U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE`S OFFICE TO MONITOR AND COMBAT TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS
Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Wednesday with Mark Lagon, Director of the U.S. Department of State`s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons.
The meeting focused on Azerbaijan-U.S cooperation in fight against human trafficking.
The Azerbaijani Minister briefed Mr. Lagon on work done in the area of migration in his country.
Mark Lagon vowed his country would share its migration experience with Azerbaijan.
The same day, Mr. Mammadyarov also met with foreign ministers of the Council of Europe and Economic Cooperation Organization.
