The number of Azerbaijani internet users who are going online via mobile phone data connections has reached 57.49 per cent in the first quarter of this year, which is 7.41 per cent more than in 2016.

This exceeds the global mobile internet usage figure, which is 55.05 per cent.

The number of those who made use of the net via mobile phones in 2016 was 52.03 per cent in Azerbaijan. This March alone saw this figure make 58.25 per cent.
