AZIREX-2024 joint tactical exercise held

AZIREX-2024 joint tactical exercise, involving a group of personnel and ships of the Naval Forces of the Azerbaijan Army and the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was held in Iranian sector of the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
A briefing was held on the Marine Search and Rescue exercise.
The exercise was conducted to enhance military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran. It included activities focused on implementing rescue and medical assistance measures in the event of maritime accidents, conducting search and rescue operations, and ensuring the safety of vessels.
The sailors completed the tasks assigned at various stages of the exercise, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
