Belgian MPs visit Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan
Baku, July 7 (AZERTAC). Members of the Azerbaijan-Belgium working group on interparliamentary relations led by head of the delegation Philippe Blanchard visited the Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
During the meeting with Azeri culture and tourism minister Abulfas Garayev, the sides exchanged views on the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belgium and expansion of cultural ties.
Blanchard congratulated Azerbaijan on its victory in Eurovision Song Contest and expressed his confidence that Baku would host the next contest successfully.
The Azerbaijani Minister briefed the Belgian MPs on the activity of the Ministry. He noted the importance of cooperation in tourism sphere, joint organization of info-tours, and exchange of experts.
Garayev invited tourism minister of Wallonia region of Belgium to pay a visit to Azerbaijan. He also invited representatives of Belgian tourism companies to participate in Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair.
