BEU students’ artificial intelligence-based agricultural projects receive great interest

Students of the Baku Engineering University (BEU) participated in a Bootcamp held in Gusar district within the framework of the “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture” project, organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the event, Nazrin Hamidova, a second-year student majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of BEU, presented the S.A.Y.A. (Smart Air Yielding Agro-system) project, while Firangiz Ibrahimova, a fourth-year student majoring in Electrical Engineering, presented the “Smart Greenhouse” project. The innovative projects developed by BEU students, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture, attracted considerable interest and attention from the participants.
The participation of BEU students in the Bootcamp was carried out within the framework of cooperation between the Agrarian Innovation Center and the BEU Technopark.
The Bootcamp brought together students from nearly 20 higher education institutions across the country studying disciplines in which artificial intelligence is taught, as well as specialists from more than 10 Acceleration and Incubation Centers.
As part of the event, participants exchanged views and experiences on the application of artificial intelligence technologies in agriculture, the development of innovative solutions, and the prospects for using modern technologies in this field.
