BHOS teams take first three places in hackathon

The “TransitHack” hackathon has been held at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR with the support of Huawei.
Before the event, a meeting with representatives of Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan was held. The meeting included an exchange of views on the hackathon aimed at promoting innovative solutions in transportation and smart city technologies.
The winner of the hackathon was BHOS.
In the direction of IT solutions:
1. The team “125” (Farid Lalaev, Sabukhi Huseynov, Murad Tagiyev, Ismail Mammadzade, Vugar Abdulaliyev, Oktay Akhmedov)
2. The team “Urban Rangers” (Jahar Akbarov, Anar Nurizade, Mikayil Mustafayev, Yusifmilad Guluzade, Danil Yegarmin)
In the direction of research:
1. The team “CityGuard” (Rasul Ahmadov, Ravan Guluzade, Emil Abdurrahmanli, Ravan Khidyrov, Elnur Mammadov, Anar Mustafayev)
2. The team “Qız Qalası” (Fidan Karimli, Chingiz Hajiyev, Zahid Abdullayev, Yasaman Mammadli, Jabrayil Gasimli)
Thirty-five teams competed in the hackathon for a prize of 12,500 manats. 7 teams joined the competition online. About 600 candidates from 25 different cities around the world applied for the competition, and 20 teams made it to the finals.
