BILL “ON INTELLIGENCE AND COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE” ADOPTED

At the 13 April session of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic, discussed was the bill “On intelligence and counter-intelligence”, AzerTAj correspondent reported.

As was stated by vice-chairman of Milli Majlis, chairman of the standing committee on safety issues and defense Ziyafet Askerov has told, that opinions and the offers which have been put forward by deputies during discussion of the project in parliament in the first reading, have been studied, and taken into account.

After adoption of the bill as basis, it has been discussed on sections. Deputies, representatives of the ministries of national security, defense and other corresponding organizations made their proposals.

The bill has been put on voting as a whole and adopted in the second reading.
