Boxer Mammadov seals Azerbaijan`s 54th Olympic berth

Baku, June 24, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani boxer Teymur Mammadov has qualified for Rio-2016 Summer Olympic Games, bringing the total number of Azerbaijani athletes who will compete in the Games to 54.

Mammadov secure the Olympic berth after reaching semifinal in the 81kg weight category at AIBA World Olympic Qualification Event in Baku.

The tournament brings together 469 boxers from 105 countries.
