BP FULFILLS GEORGIAN SIDE REQUIREMENTS

Bp Company fulfilled requirement of the ministry of environment and natural resources protection of Georgia and submitted Georgian government the program of additional measures on protection of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline via Borzhomi gorge. Thus, work on laying of BTC MEP on Borzhomi region was restored.

It should be reminded that about two weeks ago, the Georgian Ministry of environment and natural resources protection demanded to take additional measures on protection of laying of pipeline on 17 km area of Borzhomi gorge and suspension of construction works for two weeks, while BP submit preliminary plan of arrangements. This term was ended on August 3.
