BTC MEP: GREATER PART OF WORKS BEHIND
According to the information provided by AzerTAj correspondent, 51 percent of the construction works at the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Pipeline have been done, managers of the project in Turkey told a news conference in the Azizli village of Ceyhan settlement, province of Adana, on 14 November.
At words of the Project’s Sivash-Ceyhan part manager David Key, welding works in 82 km of the 322 km line was completed. Along the pipes, through the Toros Mountain slopes were laid fiber optic cables either. The construction works involved 882 residents.
Manager of the Ceyhan terminal Phillip Zhelard updated on installation of 7 new reservoirs and construction of an administrative building.
It was noted that along 40 years, Turkey would benefit from transportation of the Azerbaijani oil to Europe some $300 million.
