CASPIAN COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT PROJECT COMMENCES
Regional Ecological Center “The Caucasus” with the EU’s €1 million 200 thousand financial support has started the project “Caspian Ecological Program: Small Grants for Sustainable Development of Caspian Communities.” Administered by the regional ecological centers in Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan, the project aims to prevent overuse of the Caspian natural resources and create additional revenue sources for local communities, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, small entrepreneurs and business groups assisting thus their sustainable economic development through environmental improvements.
